RapidWeaver Media Browser Plugin
I’m big fan of RapidWeaver and its iMedia Browser but the one feature it has been lacking since day one is Aperture support. Many users have asked for it, I use Aperture almost everyday so it was a must have feature. So here it is...
Download
Download Media Browser here:
- Media Browser: This is a Universal Binary that works with RapidWeaver 3.5, its recommend that you use RapidWeaver 3.6. (This has not been tested with RapidWeaver 3.2, and is also untested on Mac OS X 10.3.9: sorry, I don’t have a 10.3.9 system to test it out on!)
If you find any bugs, just email me about them via the email link at the bottom of this page--I’ll add it to my to-do list. Same goes for feature requests, for which I’m sure you have many ideas!

Know Issues
When compiling you may received one of the following warnings:
- warning: 'NSView' may not respond to '-displaySongs:'
- warning: 'NSView' may not respond to '-displayPictures:'
- warning: 'NSView' may not respond to '-displayMovies:'
These are know issues that are caused by using undocumented API's, the plugin still performs the same.
Please Note: When compiling the plugin its searches for the RWPluginUtilities.framework at /Applications/RapidWeaver.app/Contents/Frameworks/RWPluginUtilities.framework. If it is in another location you will need to configure Xcode to search there.
Other Media Browser Plugins
- Loghound.com Media Surfer plugin. Note that Loghound.com plugin takes a different approach to mine: Media Surfer was made for 3.2 so users could have a nice media browser, this media browser has since been made standard on RapidWeaver since 3.5.
